Below you will find the contact information for the Seminar for Divorcing Parents. Even if you are not married, but are involved in litigation over children, the court will require you to attend. You may attend the seminar in any county in the state and you will receive a certificate. You must bring a copy of your certificate to our offices so that we can file it. The seminar lasts four hours and is very informative. You need to take the seminar BEFORE your first appearance before the judge. If you fail to take the seminar, you cannot get divorced or be awarded custody. There is no need for both parties to attend together.
If you took the seminar previously (prior divorce case etc.), you will need to locate your certificate and provide the attorneys with a copy. The certificate will be filed in the courthouse of your previous case.
